Foreman, Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct duct fitters, pipe fitters, insulators, and helpers in daily construction activities
• Assign daily tasks and monitor workforce performance
• Supervise installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, chilled water piping, and ventilation systems
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials at the worksite
• Monitor workmanship to ensure installations meet quality standards
• Coordinate with the Mechanical Supervisor to maintain project schedules
• Report daily progress, manpower utilization, and material shortages
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and permit-to-work requirements
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure correct use of PPE
• Assist in testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities
• Complete assigned punch list items within required timeframes

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI/Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related discipline
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC construction
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Foreman in Oil & Gas projects
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Ability to work on high platforms or in confined spaces
