Foreman - Landscape Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and delegate daily work to keep jobs on track
• Lead, coach, and support crew performance and development
• Troubleshoot challenges, manage incidents, and support conflict resolution
• Inspect, maintain, and perform minor repairs on equipment
• Operate a truck and trailer safely and professionally
• Represent the company with professionalism and excellent customer service
• Champion safety through toolbox talks and proper PPE use
• Complete daily and weekly paperwork including inspections, reports, and timecards

Requirements

• 2+ years in landscaping or equivalent education
• Experience leading or supervising a crew
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work including lifting 50+ lbs
• Experience operating landscape equipment
• Basic mechanical and plant knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• Secondary school completion or horticulture education
• Industry certifications such as Red Seal, CLT, or Pesticide Applicator
• Safety certifications like OFA Level 1 or Fall Protection
