Foreman

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise work crews to ensure high-quality production meeting company and industry standards
• Plan and execute assigned work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety rules
• Read, understand, and produce work from blueprints and technical drawings
• Identify areas for improvement and cost-savings, communicating findings to superintendents
• Manage work crews safely by identifying, responding to, and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Perform general physical tasks including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling as required by the position
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and work productively to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Foreman
• Proven crew leadership skills and experience in a specific trade or craft
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
• Strong knowledge of dirt work, including excavation, grade work, surveying, and final excavating
• Essential knowledge of equipment rigging and various types of heavy equipment for site projects
• Ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions and safety warnings

Preferred Qualifications

• 10 years of construction experience, preferably related to civil infrastructure projects
