Foreman, Fire Fighting

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of fire fighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, and foam systems
• Read and interpret approved drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Coordinate daily site activities and assign work to technicians and helpers
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, project requirements, and HSE regulations
• Conduct inspections, pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning support
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, engineers, and client representatives
• Maintain daily work reports, material usage, and manpower records

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Fire Fighting Mechanical or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in HVAC ductwork installation
• 2-3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in oil and gas
• Proficiency in various HVAC ducting systems (sheet metal, insulated, flexible)
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in HVAC installation and safety
• Familiarity with SMACNA standards
