Foreman

Responsibilities

• Manage utility construction crews to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget
• Supervise crew members and operate equipment as needed
• Manage labor, material, and equipment costs to stay within project budgets
• Provide direction and set clear production goals for crew members
• Complete and submit daily reports, including crew time cards, production updates, and redlines
• Identify and report changes in project scope to the Project Supervisor or Project Manager
• Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions to meet budget goals
• Supervise work phases to ensure compliance with contractual scope and obligations
• Promote and maintain a “zero incident” safety culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Manage and maintain all necessary project paperwork and documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within utility construction
• Strong understanding of budget management and productivity monitoring
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to operate relevant equipment as required
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
