Foreman Electrician

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electricians, apprentices, and helpers by assigning daily tasks and ensuring quality workmanship
• Plan and coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and job documentation to guide field installation
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Coordinate tools, materials, and equipment to ensure crews have necessary resources
• Communicate with project managers, customers, inspectors, and other trades to maintain alignment
• Monitor job progress, track field activities, and report status or potential delays to management
• Conduct job site walkthroughs and quality checks to ensure installations meet requirements
• Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing policies and conducting regular safety discussions
• Provide mentorship and training to apprentices and team members

Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical field experience
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and code compliance
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage crews and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician license
• Previous leadership or foreman experience
