Foreclosure Legal Specialist

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage foreclosure referral packages, including timeline tracking and vendor coordination
• Oversee the generation and delivery of default-related notices such as NOD, NOI, and Breach Letters
• Maintain detailed records of communications between borrowers, attorneys, and the company
• Conduct compliance reviews of foreclosure and bankruptcy legal documents to ensure regulatory adherence
• Review exception reports to manage overdue orders and workflow challenges
• Process invoices and work with accounts payable to reconcile vendor payments
• Provide support across Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and Property Preservation functions

Requirements

• 5+ years of default servicing experience preferred, with at least 2 years in foreclosure
• Prior FHA mortgage foreclosure experience or manufactured home replevin experience required
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Working knowledge of GSE servicing guidelines and investor requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
