Forecasting Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statistical unconstrained shipment forecasts for a rolling 36-month period.
• Manage statistical reconciliation, modeling parameters, and fair share forecast distributions.
• Utilize JDA demand functionality for Demand Classification, Seasonality curves, and NPI forecasting.
• Perform exception-based analytics to investigate root causes of forecast accuracy, bias, and inventory issues.
• Collaborate with Demand Planners to align statistical forecasts with sales and marketing promotional plans.
• Manage DFU (Forecasting records) including item setups, maintenance, and historical data cleansing.
• Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) maturity and prepare analytical materials for demand reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning or Forecasting.
• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with forecasting and data software (e.g., JDA Demand/Manugistics, SAP, or PowerBI).
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or MS degree.
• Professional certifications such as IBP, APICS, IBF, or SCOR.
