Force Protection Equipment Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative management for Force Protection equipment assigned to the USAFE Global Prepositioned Materiel Services.
• Oversee contract storage sites within the USAFE Area of Responsibility (AOR).
• Develop and implement efficient logistics policies and procedures in compliance with DOD and USAF directives.
• Coordinate staffing needs and collaborate with HR for timely recruitment.
• Participate in safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure all required contractual submittals are provided to the government and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
• Communicate new directives, procedural changes, and special taskings to site personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of military Security Forces experience.
• Proven experience in S4 Logistics maintenance.
• Working knowledge of deployable/mobile Security Forces weapon systems and associated technology.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to obtain authorization to work in the host country.
• Educational background meeting one of the following: Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of specialized experience, Associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, or 11 years of specialized experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in contingency environments.
• Experience working with government contracts.
• Working knowledge of Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) and Up-Armored High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV).
• Training in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of RQ-11B Raven and Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS).
• Experience with Common Remote Weapon Stations (CROWS) and counter-IED electronic warfare systems.
