Football Video Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage technical equipment for VAR, Goal-Line Technology (GLT), and Electronic Performance Tracking System (EPTS)
• Support GLT operators in connecting stadium equipment to mobile units and verifying functionality
• Monitor servers and equipment in vans or control rooms and resolve technical issues
• Test connections between onsite units and the Remote Center
• Install audio and Referee Review Area (RRA) systems on sidelines
• Manage video signals for GLT, Semi-Automatic Offside (SAO), VAR, and other outputs
• Complete technical checklists and match reports
• Monitor systems during live matches and communicate with the Remote Center
• Assist with dismantling equipment post-match

Requirements

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive attitude with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in high-pressure, live broadcast environments
• Professional communication skills for stakeholder liaison
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to work flexible, irregular hours including weekends and midweek fixtures
• Must be located within a 50km radius of Arezzo
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a VAT number

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background in IT or Broadcast
• Interest in sports analysis and knowledge of football rules
• Experience with VT/replay technology or live technical production
• Valid driving licence
• Willingness to travel locally and across Italy/Europe
