Food Truck Worker

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and cook food requiring short preparation times according to requirements
• Complete and serve orders from within the food truck
• Transport food products and prepared items between kitchens and the food truck
• Receive customer payments and handle transactions
• Prepare and package food items according to menu instructions
• Order, receive, and store necessary food and supplies while maintaining related records
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly manner
• Observe and practice all safety and production standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• NYC Food Handlers License (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a food truck environment
