Food Services Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion menu items including sandwiches, salads, entrees, and tube feeds
• Assemble patient trays accurately according to written ticket orders
• Deliver meals and beverages to patient bedside and manage food cart delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, surfaces, and serving stations
• Perform dishwashing duties including cleaning cutlery and managing garbage
• Follow strict food safety, infection control, and hand washing protocols

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Advanced Food Handler's Certification
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to prepare and mix basic recipes
• Physical capability to meet food production targets
• Previous experience in food handling, preferably in healthcare
• Availability to work variable shifts including every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Food Service Worker (FSW)
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets and Canadian foods
