Food Service Worker Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all food service equipment used for patients and cafeteria service
• Clean and sanitize cafeteria service items, food service carts, and work areas
• Clean the dish machine at the end of each shift
• Prepare cold food items for patients and the cafeteria
• Assist with tray assembly and taking room service orders
• Help put away stock using the FIFO (first in, first out) method
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly cooking and service area
• Complete daily position checklists and required documentation

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Ability to work rotating shifts (Morning: 7:30am-4pm; Second: 3-11:30pm)
• Availability to work every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience
• Familiarity with dietary restrictions
