Food Service Worker

Responsibilities

• Assist with ingredient preparation for hot and cold food production while preventing cross-contamination
• Support servery set-up, service, replenishment, and portion control
• Perform dishwashing tasks, including loading/unloading machines and stacking clean dishware
• Execute sanitation duties such as cleaning preparation stations, equipment, floors, and dining areas
• Assist in stocking inventory, including gluten-free areas, following FICO standards
• Greet and assist dining service patrons with excellent customer service
• Provide coverage for both front and back of house operations as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Current ServSafe certification or completion of an online food safety course upon hire
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of personal hygiene practices and food handling procedures
• Commitment to dependability, punctuality, and sustainability practices

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in food production or ingredient preparation
• Intermediate knife skills (chopping, dicing, slicing)

Benefits

• Hourly rate of $18.40 per hour
