Food Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial food service equipment, refrigeration, and vending machines across all district schools
• Manage the equipment database using the FMX system
• Evaluate equipment to determine replacement needs and maintain the equipment retention schedule
• Order all necessary parts and supplies
• Process new equipment, including unpacking, assembly, and installation
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain equipment quotes and provide project management oversight for installations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in food service equipment maintenance and repair
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States
