About the role
Responsibilities
- Recruit and oversee volunteers for Guest Services
- Operate the outdoor grill according to operating procedures
- Train and monitor volunteers on operating standards and health regulations
- Operate POS systems and handle money and deposits
- Perform equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the grill
- Support other ministry activities for church events and programming
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months food industry experience
- Valid Food Handler’s Card
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Alignment with CCV CORE Values and Staff Fundamentals
- Must be/become an active member of CCV
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for entire shifts
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of kitchen processes
- Catering experience
