Food Service Generalist

High School diploma or equivalent, Ability to operate cash register, Ability to operate cooking equipment, Ability to operate dish washing equipment
About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to documented recipes and monitor food quality during meal periods
- Maintain assigned service areas, including replenishing condiments and garnishes
- Ensure proper food temperatures and HACCP safety conditions are met on serving lines
- Provide efficient and courteous customer service to guests
- Operate cash registers, process meal tickets, and handle cash transactions
- Perform dishwashing duties, including cleaning pots, pans, and other foodservice equipment
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment, including kitchens and storage areas
- Assist with catered functions and participate in recipe testing and development
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to operate standard cooking and dishwashing equipment
- Ability to operate other mechanical devices used in food service operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a food service environment
