About the role
Responsibilities
- Process patient meal orders, diet orders, special services, consults, transfers, and nourishments
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients
- Answer incoming phone calls in a call center environment
- Deliver patient nourishments
- Actively attend departmental meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet specific patient needs within physician-prescribed menus
Requirements
- Some additional training beyond high school
- At least 3 months of experience in an office, food service, or hospitality setting
- Proficiency with Windows computer environments
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using an automated call distribution system
