Food Service Call Center Operator

Responsibilities

• Process patient meal orders, diet orders, special services, consults, transfers, and nourishments
• Provide high-quality customer service to patients
• Answer incoming phone calls in a call center environment
• Deliver patient nourishments
• Actively attend departmental meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet specific patient needs within physician-prescribed menus

Requirements

• Some additional training beyond high school
• At least 3 months of experience in an office, food service, or hospitality setting
• Proficiency with Windows computer environments
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using an automated call distribution system
