Food Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to specific recipes, standards, and portion sizes
• Prepare patient trays in accordance with prescribed diets and requests
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned workstations, dishes, and utensils
• Manage stock levels and store food items using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulated hygiene standards
• Document dish machine temperatures and follow infection control protocols
• Assist in achieving customer satisfaction goals within the dietary department

Requirements

• Riverside County Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe Certificate
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
• Basic math skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment
