About the role
Responsibilities
- Obtain new food service accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular check-ins
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and communicating changes to deliveries or product substitutions
- Consult with new customers regarding kitchen needs, storage capacity, billing, and orientation to food service processes
- Prepare, package, and assemble food orders accurately for daily delivery according to the menu
- Load and unload delivery vehicles with food, containers, and carts
- Track and maintain food and supply inventories at customer locations
- Monitor food temperatures prior to loading and at the time of delivery to ensure safety standards
- Practice safe and defensive driving while adhering to assigned routes and traffic laws
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Washington state Food handler’s card
- At least 2 years of experience in food service account management or restaurant management
- At least 6 months of experience as a delivery driver
- Valid driver's license and ability to qualify as an approved driver
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Strong communication skills in English and ability to comprehend local maps and directions

- Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
