Food Sales Assistant

Responsibilities

• Serve as a direct contact and advisor for customers regarding food products in fruit & vegetable, meat, fish, and dairy departments
• Provide professional customer service and advice to gastronomy clients
• Restock goods, including in cold environments, to ensure well-filled shelves and freezers
• Present goods attractively and implement promotional measures
• Ensure quality assurance by following legal and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, expiration date control)

Requirements

• Ideally completed training in retail or gastronomy (e.g., Chef, Restaurant Specialist, Wholesale or Retail Merchant)
• Career changers are welcome and will receive professional training
• Experience in the food retail sector is a plus
• Strong customer orientation and professional demeanor
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
