About the role
Responsibilities
- Coach, train, and develop a multi-shift FSQA team
- Partner with Production, Warehouse, and Continuous Improvement to integrate food safety into daily operations
- Lead implementation of Home Chef and SQF standards for Meal Kit and Ready-to-Heat platforms
- Serve as primary point of contact for regulatory and third-party inspections
- Manage CAPA activities and systemic root cause investigations
- Lead site-level FSQA risk assessments for new product launches and process changes
- Drive the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process for incidents
Requirements
- 7-10 years experience in quality assurance, food safety, food manufacturing, or supply chain
- Proven track record in Ready-to-Eat (RTE) or Ready-to-Heat (RTH) operations
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience, including 3 years managing multi-shift operations
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, food technology, microbiology, or related field preferred
- Experience with GFSI, FDA, and USDA inspections
- Certifications: SQF, PCQI, HACCP, and ServSafe Manager required within 6 months
