Food Safety & Hygiene Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and conduct regular inspections and audits of food production processes, facilities, and equipment
• Support and deliver training sessions to employees on food safety practices, including handling, storage, and sanitation
• Monitor the effectiveness of food safety and hygiene programs and recommend corrective actions
• Investigate food safety incidents, guest complaints, and non-conformities to implement preventive actions
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation of standards
• Ensure adherence to updated food safety regulations and industry best practices
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inspections, audits, and training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Microbiology, or a related field
• HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent certification in food safety and hygiene
• Proven experience in food safety, hygiene, or quality assurance within the hospitality or food service industry
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP, or local authority standards)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and guiding team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
