Food Runner/Host

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude and escort them to tables
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
• Refill water, non-alcoholic beverages, and chips & salsa
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area
• Manage reservations and waitlists, accurately estimating wait times
• Assist with organizing takeout orders and ensuring correct packaging
• Maintain cleanliness of the host stand and dining areas
• Use POS system to process payments and ring up sales
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Prepare restaurant for patrons by setting decorations, condiments, and utensils

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of age
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to stand continuously for the duration of a shift
• Ability to climb stairs frequently
• Ability to lift 20-40 lbs and push carts up to 100 lbs
• Appropriate availability and transportation to attend shifts
• Ability to work community events and caterings as needed
