About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly while maintaining proper temperature, presentation, and timing
- Ensure all plates meet quality and presentation standards prior to leaving the kitchen
- Coordinate closely with the expeditor and kitchen to ensure accurate order execution
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions
- Act as a liaison between the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless communication
- Assist in synchronizing courses for tables to ensure proper pacing of the dining experience
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the expeditor station and service areas
- Adhere to all health, safety, sanitation, and luxury brand grooming standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required work cards and licenses
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality
- Prior experience as a food runner, busser, or server assistant
