Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly while maintaining proper temperature, presentation, and timing
• Ensure all plates meet quality and presentation standards prior to leaving the kitchen
• Coordinate closely with the expeditor and kitchen to ensure accurate order execution
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions
• Act as a liaison between the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless communication
• Assist in synchronizing courses for tables to ensure proper pacing of the dining experience
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the expeditor station and service areas
• Adhere to all health, safety, sanitation, and luxury brand grooming standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required work cards and licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality
• Prior experience as a food runner, busser, or server assistant
