Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Assist the concessions and food room to ensure all kitchen orders are delivered in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner
• Perform table maintenance, opening, running, and closing duties according to service standards
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a polite and professional manner
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by clearing trash, cleaning spills immediately, and using caution signs
• Keep the line stocked to par and stay informed on all current menu items and descriptions
• Follow all safety standards and private party service guidelines to ensure event success
• Assist other team members as needed and work occasional special events

Requirements

• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations or food service as an expeditor or server
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards
• Exceptional communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, loud, and high-pressure environment
• High School diploma
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems
