Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests quickly and accurately according to table numbers and seat positions
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to verify dishes and modifications
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure proper timing and pacing of courses
• Describe dishes and modifications to guests when delivering food
• Assist with garnishing, final plate presentation, and maintaining the cleanliness of the expo line
• Support service teams during peak periods by clearing plates and resetting tables
• Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience required
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and allergens
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours)
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Ability to move safely through fast-paced kitchen environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in high-volume, full-service restaurant environments
