Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests quickly and accurately according to table numbers and seat positions
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to verify dishes and modifications
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure proper timing and pacing of courses
• Describe dishes and modifications to guests during delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, service stations, and runner areas
• Support servers and service teams during peak periods to maintain smooth service flow
• Assist with clearing plates, resetting tables, and completing opening/closing side work
• Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience required
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and allergens

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
