Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests quickly and accurately according to table numbers and seat positions
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to verify dishes and modifications
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure proper timing and pacing of courses
• Describe dishes and modifications to guests upon delivery
• Assist with garnishing, final plate presentation, and maintaining the cleanliness of the expo line
• Support servers by clearing plates, resetting tables, and maintaining dining room readiness
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned
• Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience required; high-volume experience is strongly preferred
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and allergens
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds (large trays, multiple plates)
• Ability to move safely through fast-paced kitchen and dining environments
