Food Production/Service Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare cold food items and prep hot food items for regular service and catering following standardized recipes.
• Ensure all items for assigned stations are prepped, rotated, and stocked.
• Deliver high-quality products while adhering to strict deadlines and timelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service and interact with guests in a gracious manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at stations, including cleaning ovens, fryers, griddles, and food contact surfaces.
• Assist Chefs and Cooks with cooking or plating items to order for catering events and Marketplace stations.
• Ensure the safety of staff, guests, food, and equipment by following all food safety guidelines and identifying hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of culinary coursework and/or significant experience in volume cooking.
• Valid ServeSafe Certification (or equivalent food safety certification).
• Demonstrated knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety procedures, and food allergies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary Degree.
• Five years of experience in high-volume cooking and catering operations.
