Food Production/Service Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare cold food items and prep hot food items for regular service and catering following standardized recipes.
• Ensure all items for assigned stations are prepped, rotated, and stocked.
• Deliver high-quality products while adhering to strict deadlines and timelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service and interact with guests in a gracious manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at stations throughout shifts, including cleaning ovens, fryers, and food contact surfaces.
• Assist Chefs and Cooks with cooking or plating items to order for catering events or Marketplace stations.
• Ensure the safety of staff, guests, food, and equipment by identifying and preventing hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of culinary courses and/or significant volume cooking experience.
• ServeSafe Certification (or equivalent food safety certification).
• Demonstrated knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety procedures, and food allergies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and electronically.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary Degree.
• Five years of experience in a high-volume cooking and catering operation.
