Food Microbiological Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing and analysis on various food products (e.g., bacterial counts, E. coli)
• Assist in the development of new testing methods
• Manage ISO 17025 laboratory quality documentation
• Participate in internal and external laboratory audits and assessments
• Study domestic and international health regulations
• Prepare reagents and manage record forms
• Manage procurement and inventory of medicines and consumables
• Execute instrument maintenance, care, and calibration management
• Prepare documentation and submit applications for testing method certification

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Life Sciences, Biology, Agriculture, or related fields
• Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratories is preferred
• At least one year of experience in food testing is preferred
• Ability to work overtime or on weekend shifts as required by project schedules
