About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing and analysis on various food products (e.g., bacterial counts, E. coli)
- Assist in the development of new testing methods
- Manage ISO 17025 laboratory quality documentation
- Participate in internal and external laboratory audits and assessments
- Study domestic and international health regulations
- Prepare reagents and manage record forms
- Manage procurement and inventory of medicines and consumables
- Execute instrument maintenance, care, and calibration management
- Prepare documentation and submit applications for testing method certification
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science, Life Sciences, Biology, Agriculture, or related fields
- Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratories is preferred
- At least one year of experience in food testing is preferred
- Ability to work overtime or on weekend shifts as required by project schedules
