About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HACCP management system
  • Conduct daily and weekly inspections and audits to identify safety risks and hygiene issues
  • Supervise stewarding operations, including dishwashing and sanitation protocols
  • Monitor food hall pods to ensure tenant compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage inventory for cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
  • Train and supervise the stewarding and sanitation team
  • Coordinate with external maintenance providers and pest control services
  • Conduct regular cleanliness and sanitation audits for all pods and shared areas

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar managerial position
  • HACCP Level 3 or higher certification
  • Food Safety Level 3 or higher certification
  • Fire Safety and First Aid certifications
  • Sustainability or Environmental Management certification (e.g., ISO 14001)
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards in the GCC market
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven leadership experience managing multinational teams
