About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HACCP management system
- Conduct daily and weekly inspections and audits to identify safety risks and hygiene issues
- Supervise stewarding operations, including dishwashing and sanitation protocols
- Monitor food hall pods to ensure tenant compliance with food safety standards
- Manage inventory for cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Train and supervise the stewarding and sanitation team
- Coordinate with external maintenance providers and pest control services
- Conduct regular cleanliness and sanitation audits for all pods and shared areas
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar managerial position
- HACCP Level 3 or higher certification
- Food Safety Level 3 or higher certification
- Fire Safety and First Aid certifications
- Sustainability or Environmental Management certification (e.g., ISO 14001)
- Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards in the GCC market
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Proven leadership experience managing multinational teams
