About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution of food commodities for TEFAP and other community initiatives.
  • Operate agency trucks and equipment to deliver products to Emergency Feeding Organizations throughout New Hampshire.
  • Maintain accurate USDA commodity inventory levels and provide monthly reports to the Program Director.
  • Manage documentation, including loading/unloading records, distribution spreadsheets, and program files for participating agencies.
  • Assist with compiling statistical reports for State and Federal Government and processing program agreement contracts.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to community feeding organizations and new applicants.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Valid CDL B driver’s license with Air Brake endorsement.
  • NHDOT Medical Card.
  • Forklift Operator Certification (must be obtained within three months of hire).
  • Ability to operate trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Strong clerical and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Successful completion of criminal record, driving record, and pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Food Safe Certification.
