About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution of food commodities for TEFAP and other community initiatives.
- Operate agency trucks and equipment to deliver products to Emergency Feeding Organizations throughout New Hampshire.
- Maintain accurate USDA commodity inventory levels and provide monthly reports to the Program Director.
- Manage documentation, including loading/unloading records, distribution spreadsheets, and program files for participating agencies.
- Assist with compiling statistical reports for State and Federal Government and processing program agreement contracts.
- Provide technical assistance and support to community feeding organizations and new applicants.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Valid CDL B driver’s license with Air Brake endorsement.
- NHDOT Medical Card.
- Forklift Operator Certification (must be obtained within three months of hire).
- Ability to operate trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Strong clerical and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Successful completion of criminal record, driving record, and pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Food Safe Certification.
