About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest quality product reaches guests and meets specifications
- Conduct daily shift meetings
- Assist in training new staff members within the department
- Assist management with motivating, developing, coaching, and counseling staff
- Assist with labor controls and assigning duties to staff members
- Report staff member issues to management
- Ensure high standards of service efficiency, sanitation, and training
- Assist with opening and closing responsibilities and dining room setup
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room
- Relay orders to kitchen or bar and serve courses
- Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in food & beverage service
- Passion for guest service and reliability
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond helpfully
- Ability to display a consistently caring and respectful attitude
