Food & Beverage Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the full scope of the Food & Beverage department, including overseeing over 60 staff members.
• Uphold exceptional customer service standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and provincial alcohol regulations.
• Manage liquor and beer inventory, including ordering, maintaining par levels, and assisting with month-end reconciliation and reporting.
• Utilize POS and inventory management systems (such as Yellow Dog) to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and implement F&B staff service standards, training programs, and operational checklists.
• Oversee venue floor operations, responding to real-time service demands and supporting staff and guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure product quality, consistency, and speed of service.
• Support the curation and execution of special events.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in food and beverage operations within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proven experience in supervision, coaching, and staff development.
• Smart Serve Certification and a minimum age of 19.
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a high-energy, loud environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of spirits, beers, wines, and champagnes; mixology and cocktail experience is a plus.
• Previous experience with Square or Yellow Dog inventory systems.
