About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and execute customized beverage programs and bespoke cocktail creations for private clients and special events
- Act as the primary resource for beverage innovation, staying ahead of industry trends for wine and spirits programs
- Oversee F&B operations for both high-capacity concerts (1,100 capacity) and intimate private events
- Develop service standards and training programs focused on elevated mixology and high-volume hospitality
- Lead floor management during live events to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Manage inventory, purchasing, and par levels with a focus on cost control
- Ensure compliance with B.C. provincial Health & Safety guidelines and global company standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of F&B operations experience in high-volume and banquet/special event environments
- Strong background in mixology with the ability to create original cocktails and food pairings
- Solid working knowledge of wine varietals and spirits (WSET Level 1 or 2 is a significant asset)
- Proven experience coaching and managing diverse teams in fast-paced settings
- Serving It Right certification and at least 19 years of age
- Proficiency with POS and inventory systems (Square and Yellow Dog experience is an asset)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event calendar
