Food & Beverage Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all food and beverage operations, including weddings, functions, and events, to ensure smooth and efficient execution
• Manage departmental costs, stock control, and monthly stock takes
• Lead, mentor, and train the Food & Beverage operations team to maintain brand standards
• Provide direction to employees during shifts and delegate tasks effectively
• Ensure impeccable customer service and a highly customer-focused environment
• Contribute to the creation of new food and drink offerings, utilizing deep knowledge of wines, cocktails, and spirits
• Supervise the setup and breakdown of outlets and meeting event spaces
• Maintain responsibility for Health & Safety, FSA requirements, Allergy Laws, and Hygiene ratings
• Cover Duty Manager shifts as required by the business

Requirements

• Proven experience in a MICE-led hotel property (upward of three stars)
• Strong food and beverage management background
• High level of personal presentation
• Excellent customer focus with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor a diverse team
• Hands-on approach with a passion for quality products and service excellence
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
