Food & Beverage Attendant

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding to orders, queries, and complaints politely.
• Manage various store areas including gelato, coffee, pastry, and front-of-house operations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of menu items, prices, dietary restrictions, and current promotions to assist customers.
• Drive sales through upselling promotional offers and seasonal flavors.
• Ensure accurate order taking and timely service to all customers.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness by arranging tables, cleaning floors, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation principles, including monitoring fridge temperatures and managing ingredients using FIFO.
• Execute specific gelato procedures, including the regeneration process and machine sanitation.
• Report any damages, wastage, or non-compliance to the line manager immediately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or a 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and baking techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
