Food & Beverage Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage venues within Gatlinburg SkyPark
• Supervise, coach, and train hourly team members and shift leaders
• Ensure exceptional guest service and professionally resolve service recovery situations
• Maintain strict compliance with local health department regulations and sanitation standards
• Manage inventory, including counts, ordering, product rotation, and waste control
• Support labor management through effective scheduling and shift adjustments
• Monitor food quality, portion consistency, and ticket times to ensure high standards
• Ensure accurate cash handling and POS procedures are followed

Requirements

• ServSafe Manager Certification required
• Tennessee ABC Server Permit required
• Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of food and beverage supervisory or management experience
• Experience in high-volume restaurants, bars, attractions, or tourism environments
• Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software
