Food Assistant

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are in focus and provide service based on IKEA values
• Comply with internal rules regarding food safety, quality, and stock figures
• Follow cash handling procedures and security protocols
• Optimize sales through up-selling and add-on sales
• Support colleagues and share knowledge within the team
• Promote a safety-first culture and follow daily operational routines

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience handling cash registers in the food services industry
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Service-minded and sales-driven attitude
