Food Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support customers with an attitude based on IKEA values
• Act as a brand ambassador to ensure repeat customer visits
• Engage in daily dialogue with customers to gather feedback
• Learn and share knowledge about food products, origins, and benefits
• Optimize sales by monitoring top-selling products and range changes
• Comply with internal rules, policies, and operational routines
• Ensure efficient and timely delivery of merchandise
• Maintain inventory levels using Inventory Management Systems
• Execute store operations in line with Functional Commercial Review standards

Requirements

• Ability to commit to a 24-hour work week (4 days a week, 6 hours per day)
• Availability for shift work including weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Experience in food management or the food industry
• Service-minded with a focus on customer experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy, specifically with MS Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
