Food Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support customers with an attitude based on IKEA values to ensure a positive experience
• Act as a brand ambassador and engage in daily dialogue with customers for feedback
• Learn about food products, origins, and benefits to share knowledge with customers
• Optimize sales by monitoring top-selling products and supporting range changes
• Comply with internal rules, policies, and daily operational routines
• Manage merchandise delivery and ensure efficient, timely service
• Maintain inventory levels using inventory management systems
• Execute store operations in line with Functional Commercial Review standards

Requirements

• Ability to commit to a 24-hour work week (4 days a week, 6 hours per day)
• Availability for shift work, including at least two weekdays and weekends
• Experience in food management or the food industry
• Service-minded attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literacy, specifically with MS Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
