About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development, execution, and monitoring of FMS case financials, including line-item tracking and reconciliation
- Prepare and maintain financial documentation such as Case Execution Reviews and Case Financial Reports
- Monitor financial records for obligations, expenditures, commitments, and disbursements to ensure alignment with customer expectations
- Assist in developing Price and Availability (P&A) data, Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), and amendments
- Coordinate with program managers, logisticians, and international partners to ensure accurate financial execution
- Utilize DoD financial tools including DSAMS, DIFS, and Navy ERP to track case performance
- Provide analytical support for budget formulation, forecasting, and financial planning
- Prepare briefings and decision-ready products for leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics (or 8 years of additional relevant experience)
- 5 years of financial management experience
- 3 years of FMS DoD financial management experience
- 2 years of Department of the Navy (DoN) experience
- Working knowledge of DSAMS, DIFS, Navy ERP, MISIL, SCIP, and CSPT
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Current access in Navy ERP with experience creating funding documents (WX, MP, and PIDS)
- Familiarity with international customer engagement and Security Cooperation processes
- Experience preparing financial reports for senior leadership
