About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed information to students regarding program and course requirements
  • Coordinate the recruitment process for community preceptors
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to support student placement activities
  • Prepare and distribute course materials and track student assignment submissions
  • Assist instructors with the administration of course evaluations
  • Conduct work term site visits to ensure placement suitability with learning objectives
  • Maintain databases, tabulate data, and analyze statistical information to evaluate program performance
  • Coordinate logistical details for meetings, committees, and strategic projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three years of administrative or course support experience, preferably in a university or teaching hospital setting
  • Experience serving as a primary point of contact for student or general inquiries
  • Proven experience in database maintenance, record keeping, and report generation
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and experience with scheduling platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder liaison
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of University of Toronto student procedures and academic appointment policies
  • Working knowledge of MedSIS, Elentra, and PLANK systems
