FM Manager - Technical

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Hard FM operations across multiple contracts and facilities, ensuring high asset reliability.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs including Planned Preventive (PPM), Predictive (PdM), and Reactive maintenance.
• Monitor the performance of critical building systems such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire & Life Safety, and BMS.
• Manage operational budgets, control expenditure, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and mentor multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE laws, local authority regulations, and HSEQ standards.
• Drive business development through tender preparation, site surveys, and technical proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Facility Management.
• 8–12 years of experience in Facility Management.
• Minimum 5 years in a managerial role specifically overseeing Hard FM operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE FM practices, statutory regulations, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS software.
• Proven experience managing multiple facilities and maintenance contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, IFMA (FMP/CFM), or BIFM/IWFM.
