Fluids NPI Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group Operations Fluids New Product Introduction (NPI) team at the Liverpool ink manufacturing site
• Transition new ink developments from design to robust, industrialised products for global release
• Develop and coach the NPI team to deliver high-quality project outcomes
• Ensure products launch on time, within cost targets, and according to agreed scale-up plans
• Collaborate with ink development and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are suitable for volume manufacture
• Champion the assessment and implementation of improved process, filling, and handling automation equipment
• Drive process efficiency improvements and ensure adherence to GMP guidelines and manufacturing protocols
• Participate in the design, purchasing, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping in all operational areas

Requirements

• Degree or higher qualification in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience specifying, evaluating, and delivering automated processing equipment
• Strong knowledge of equipment automation and process optimization
• Proven team leadership skills with the ability to engage, coach, and motivate staff
• Strong awareness of process safety and manufacturing protocols
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within automated ink, coating, or packaging design and manufacturing environments
• Experience working with Lean practices and continuous improvement methodologies
