Fluid Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational needs and specify requirements
• Define functional and physical architecture for fluid systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, water, cooling, air, special fluids)
• Design and dimension fluid networks including calculations and pressure loss analysis
• Specify equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, valves, piping, and sensors
• Interface with other disciplines including structure, mechanical, electrical, and safety
• Participate in design reviews and configuration management
• Monitor manufacturing, onboard integration, and testing (FAT / SAT)
• Apply naval and defense sector standards and norms

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Bac +5) in mechanics, energy, process engineering, or systems
• 2 to 10 years of experience in fluid systems, ideally in naval, offshore, or complex industrial environments
• Strong skills in hydraulics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
• Proficiency with design and calculation tools (CAD, simulation tools, technical Excel)
• Rigor, analytical mindset, and ability to work in project teams
• Technical English proficiency
