FLT Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the FLT team, ensuring efficient and safe operation of forklift trucks within the warehouse and production areas
• Schedule and coordinate daily FLT activities to support production and despatch requirements
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies related to forklift operations
• Conduct regular safety checks and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and hazards
• Provide training and guidance to FLT operators to develop their skills and promote best practices
• Liaise with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues

Requirements

• Proven experience as an FLT operator with previous supervisory or team leader responsibilities
• Valid forklift truck license and thorough knowledge of FLT safety regulations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
