Flowback Operator

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Operators with the operation and inspection of pumping and wellhead equipment
• Support field operations by ensuring safety and stewardship objectives are met consistently
• Learn to operate and maintain gas engines, testers, phase separators, heaters, and compressors
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment
• Detect oil, water, or gas leaks and follow proper lockout/tagout procedures
• Utilize SCADA equipment for well surveillance to optimize production and prevent spills
• Read and record daily production numbers and enter data into electronic systems
• Complete required paperwork, reports, and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Current valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and write to interpret pressure gauges and complete paperwork
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work in field environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Related oil and gas experience
• Familiarity with mobile applications
